Hello Readers!

I’m A.E. Via, best-selling author of Blue Moon Too Good To Be True.  This is my last stop on my blog tour and I’d like to give a very special thank you to Michael Rupured for allowing me a guest spot on his site and to talk a little about my very first M/M novel. I’d also like to extend a very special thank you to Authors Assistant Agency for doing such an outstanding job with the promotion of Blue Moon.

During the tour, I’ve been asked over and over again: ‘Why did you make your debut novel M/M Romance and not M/F?’ and my answer was always the same. It’s because I fell in love with the extremely tantalizing genre that is gay romance over eight years ago…and I haven’t looked back. I’ve always been an erotic romance reader, having started with M/F and then on to M/F/M, but I found myself wanting way more male and a lot less of the female as I read. That’s when I bought my first M/M novel. I have enjoyed so many great works from some outstanding authors such as: GA Hauser, SJ Frost, Andrew Grey, Abigail Roux, Eden Cole, and Toni Griffin, just to name a few, but there are so many more of my favorites.

Blue Moon developed and evolved in my head for about a year before I finally decided to put it on paper. I don’t have much of a writing ritual yet, so that means that I’ll pretty much write anywhere and I really don’t have rhyme-or-reason with how I come up with my characters. I don’t do an outline before I start a story. I don’t have to get into a quiet room and put on a certain type of music. A story will simply grow in my mind for a while, then the plot and its characters really fully develop as my fingers type.

The whole process of bringing Blue Moon to the readers has been a very awesome ride. I have a great publisher with even better editors and I’ve sincerely appreciated everyone’s patience of walking me thorough this very new adventure. I think the best part has been communicating with authors in the gay romance genre that I’ve grown to really enjoy and respect. It’s almost surreal to chat with G.A Hauser about her novels and her congratulating me on the success of my debut novel!

Yes, I do plan to make writing M/M romance a career…hopefully. *crossingfingers* There’s so many more excitingly erotic stories inside me that I’m looking forward to sharing with you all.

Coming next from A. E. Via?

My next novel will be released on February 07, 2014. It’s a gay male ménage erotic contemporary romance entitled ‘You Can See Me.’ I’ll be doing some advanced copy giveaways after the holidays, so periodically check my official website for those updates!

Work in Progress:

The book I’m writing right now (it’s untitled) is coming through me every day. It’s about two detectives that are pretty bad ass together. One is openly gay and the other doesn’t label himself, but while he’s always been attracted to women he begins to see his partner differently after he saves his life. It’s stirring around in the special world in my mind. Each day I just sit down and start typing away and I won’t stop until it’s complete.
